(NASDAQ: DISK), a leading licensee and distributor of DVD programming in North America, announced the signing of an exclusive agreement that grants Image all facets of home video, audio and broadcast distribution, worldwide, for a new Randy Travis project. Randy Travis, the internationally known Country superstar, performed back-to-back shows at Anaheim's Sun Theater (in California) on December 14, 2000. The live concerts, which featured Randy Travis' greatest hits, career favorites and new material, will be released on DVD, videocassette and compact disc in the summer of 2001. The DVD will feature DTSÆ Digital Surroundô and DolbyÆ Digital 5.1 soundtracks, as well as, an exclusive in-depth interview with Randy, conducted by popular nationally syndicated radio personalities Tony Randall and Kris Rochester. Tony and Kris host a top-ranked morning show in the San Diego, California area which airs Monday through Friday from 5 to 9am on country music station KSON (97.3FM). Additionally, the duo have a recurring role as truck drivers on the TNN television show ""18 Wheels Of Justice"" and entertain fans on ""Club Country Live,"" Saturday evenings from 7pm to midnight. Billboard/Airplay Monitor Radio Awards nominated the radio program, which is heard on KSON and over 80 stations across the nation, for ""Best Country Syndicated Program Of The Year."" The pair introduced Randy Travis during his two December 14 concerts. Randy Travis' recently released CD ""Inspiration Journey"" (Warner/Atlantic) is an impressive collection of contemporary spiritual songs, including several original songs that Randy co-wrote.
