All four products in the series feature Protect or Disconnectô circuitry which safeguards connected equipment against all surges. The MAX 2 Coax includes two AC outlets, one set of in/out coax line connectors and SignalPerfectô optimized CATV surge protection circuitry, shielded to ensure a clean, clear signal. It features solid state components for maximum protection and reliability, and bandwidth and clamping levels are optimized for standard cable or off-air TV signals. The MAX 2 Coax is designed for use with televisions, VCRs, audio equipment and cable modems. The MAX 2 Tel is designed to protect computers, dial-up modems, DSL modems and fax machines. It features two AC outlets, one set of in-out phone line connectors and SignalPerfectô optimized phone line surge protection circuitry for a clean, clear signal. For maximum protection and reliability, it features solid state SIDACtorsÆ and auto-resetting PTCRs. The MAX 2 - 20 Amp features one 15-amp and one 20-amp AC outlet.
