Support for THXÆ from major consumer electronics brands continues to grow and expand, with Harman Kardon and Kenwood adding new THX-certified products at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and new licensee JVC introducing its first THX-certified product. The introductions from the three manufacturers include both THX Ultra and Select receivers, and follow a wave of THX-certified product introductions over the last three months in every product category and from a wide range of THX licensees.""The enormous success of DVD clearly shows that people are seeking higher quality performance in home entertainment,"" said Monica L. The majority of the new controllers and receivers feature THX Surround EX for decoding a back surround channel in a film soundtrack.
