Introduced at the 2001 CES, the compact high performance outlet is designed to replace existing wall sockets in a customerís music and video room, providing clean and protected AC at a low cost - as well as detectable sonic and visual improvements from the components in users' home theatre and A/V systems.The Ultimate Outlet completely eliminates common and differential mode noise, protects equipment from surges and spikes, and reduces the output impedance of AC power from the wall outlet by a factor of three. No power conditioner can make the same claim.The Ultimate Outlet produces up to 20 amps of pre-conditioned, clean power through a precision wound Balun, which is a toroidal transformer core with identical balanced windings around each half of the donut-shaped toroid. Wound with hundreds of strands of copper Litz wire and terminated in a network of Class X2 and Class Y2 film capacitors, the Ultimate Outlet lowers overall output impedance by a factor of three.The Ultimate Outlet can handle any load common to wall outlets - up to 30 amps, or over 3000 watts. Unlike most conditioners, the Ultimate Outlet doesn't add impedance to the AC.
