Onkyo Publishes Digital Technology Reference Guide

7-Feb-01

Onkyo USA has published a reference guide covering all digital technologies. The information covered in this 216-page book is not only very comprehensive, but is both easy to read and entertaining. Topics include everything from the basics of digital audio, to digital recording as well as digital video technology. The Onkyo Digital Specialist Training Program teaches technical theories and applications in an easy-to-understand format including numerous charts, drawings and analogies, where appropriate. The materials covered are not Onkyo-specific in any manner. ""We saw an industry wide need for this type of publication"", said Mark Friedman, Senior Vice President of Onkyo U.S.A. ""Digital audio and video products present tremendous and exciting benefits to our customers, but they are sometimes very difficult for people to grasp and for members of our industry to communicate. It was obvious to us that our sales partners could make good use of a digital reference manual."" Onkyo will also re-launch the fourth edition of the Onkyo Audio Specialist Training Program. This publication provides a solid foundation of basic analog audio knowledge. Both publications are being offered free of charge to both Onkyo and Integra dealers and, in connection with the program, Onkyo and Integra will be running a certification and diploma program to recognize sales associates as ""Digital Specialists."" Signup forms will be made available through Onkyo and Integra sales representatives, and online at the Onkyo and Integra Web sites.
