Mitsubishi Digital Electronics' Presentation Products, creator of the industry's broadest line of award-winning projection and conference room display products, announced two new additions to its Mini-Mitsô line of micro-portable projectors, the Mini-Mits XD10 and SD10. Both models are powered by a Texas Instruments 0.7-inch DLPô chip designed for super-compact projectors. Achieving up to 1200 ANSI lumens in brightness, the SD10 and XD10 are the first DLP projectors in Mitsubishi's Mini-Mits line to offer this high level of brightness in such a compact and lightweight design. Mini-Mits XD10 features a native resolution of 1024 x 768 XGA with 1280 x 1024 SXGA maximum resolution, while the SD10 is the value version, offering 800 x 600 SVGA native resolution. Featuring a detachable video module, the Mitsubishi Mini-Mits XD10 and SD10 give users the option of carrying even less for meetings where only computers are used. With user-friendly features and menus, both the XD10 and SD10 can be easily set up to deliver impressive presentations in conference rooms, classrooms or even mini-auditoriums in just a matter of seconds. Designed for optimum portability, these models weigh only five pounds each, with a fraction of a pound more if the video module is attached for movie playback. Both models offer compact design with a footprint smaller than most notebook computers...so small that it can fit in most computer bags along with the user's notebook. The new Mini-Mits XD10 and SD10 can project images up to 12 diagonal feet, making it an excellent choice for small- to mid-sized audiences in meeting rooms or classrooms. Other outstanding features include a contrast ratio of 500:1, keystone adjustment, and a remote control with built-in mouse and laser pointer that comes standard in the package. Offering maximum compatibility for computer displays, especially PowerPointÆ presentations, the XD10 and SD10 are compatible with any MAC or PC computer system. These units feature manually adjustable zoom and focus for maximum versatility in most presentation environments. Capable of full multimedia presentations, the XD10 and SD10 support both video playback and computer screen magnification, offering a valuable tool for training or presentation environments, as well as home theatre. They come equipped with a built-in video line doubler, supporting NTSC, PAL and SECAM video signals, with great video quality shown in rich colors and smooth display of fast, scrolling action sequences. Available immediately, the Mitsubishi Mini-Mitsô SD10 and XD10 projectors offer a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $4,995 and $6,995, respectively. Both models come with a three-year warranty on parts and labor, plus a 90-day warranty on the lamp. The XD10 XGA model, just like all Mitsubishi XGA models, comes with additional Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) Program, a comprehensive service provided for units under warranty that offers next business day replacement for defective units when or where available. For more information about Mitsubishi Presentation Products Division, visit www.mitsubishi-presentations.com.
