Fisher Debuts Three Versatile DVD-Video Systems Offering Elegant Home Theatre Solutions

Fisher has introduced three packaged DVD-Video home theatre systems, each with unique component configurations, but all designed to provide an easy solution for setup, simple operation and a rich, theatre-like audio/video experience. Simply add a TV and these Fisher systems are ready to go. The three new DVD systems include the AVD-8501 ($449.99 suggested retail price, available in May), HTD-5201 ($399.99 MSRP, available in May) and DCS-DAV821 ($399.99 MSRP, available in July). The Fisher AVD-8501 Home Theatre System features a slim DVD-Video player with a built-in receiver that can fit into a TV rack. It offers a built-in DolbyÆ Digital decoder and Dolby Pro LogicÆ, five satellite speakers and a subwoofer. In addition to standard DVD-Video and CD formats, the AVD-8501 will play Video CDs, CD-Rs and even MP3 audio files. Output power is 30W x 6, including a subwoofer amp.
