In its latest effort to continue support of the custom installation market, Kenwood USA Corp. announced it has become the newest member of Crestronís Internet Industry Partnership (I2P) program at the 2001 Consumer Electronics Show. Developed by the New Jersey-based technology company Crestron Electronics Inc., I2P is designed to allow partner manufacturers products to operate seamlessly in a Crestron system environment.Crestronís product will be compatible with the Kenwood SovereignÆ line of audio/video receivers, from its flagship model VR-4900, to the VR-4700, VR-4090 and VR-4080 through an RS-232 connection.
