Addressing the growing need for digital television (DTV) and satellite antennas, Zenith Electronics Corporation has introduced its 2001 line of outdoor and indoor antennas.Zenith's seven outdoor antennas feature ease of installation and modern hookup. Six of the antennas range from 12 elements in the city to 69 elements in remote suburban areas. Five models are DTV-capable, while one model is a UHF/FM antenna only. Suggested list prices for the outdoor television antennas range from $19.99 to $199.99.Zenith's new antenna line also offers a 21-inch omni-directional antenna with a DBS mount. This amplified mini-dish mount UHF/VHF antenna system features a versatile three-way mounting system for either roof or wall, that is multi-stage, low noise and weatherproofed, and has a UV-protected paintable housing. The suggested list price is $129.99.Zenith's entry-level model has a 36-inch mast and a pre-attached UHF loop. The step-up model includes a seven-position adjustable control and 75-ohm wire for quick attachments to newer model televisions. At the top of the line is an amplified model that boosts the standard television signal by as much as 32dB gain and dual-stage line filtration for a cleaner signal.
