Digital Power Processing Technology Provides New Cinemarium DVD Unit High Sound Quality And Additional Power

(NASDAQ: TRPH), creators of Digital Power Processing (DPPô) technology, announced that its new TA2022 1-bit digital audio amplifier is powering Marantzís new Cinemarium Home Cinema System. The ER3000 DVD system produces high quality sound with a Tripath Class-Tô 50W (EIAJ/ 6 ohms) digital amplifier and built-in DolbyÆ Digital, Dolby Pro LogicÆ, DTSÆ Digital Surroundô and Circle SurroundÆ decoding.Tripathís TA2022 allows Marantz to deliver a total of 250W of audio power at 90 percent efficiency, enabling the integration of a DVD and AM/FM tuner into a single component. Tripathís advantage is derived from itís patented DPP technology, which incorporates a 1-bit Delta-Sigma DAC with a sampling frequency of 50Mhz, with proprietary signal processing algorithms to provide the fidelity (0.03% THD+N) associated with traditional analog amplifiers, but with the power efficiency of a switching mode architecture.The ER3000 DVD Home Cinema System includes an integrated center unit combining a DVD player, an A/V amplifier and an AM/FM tuner, as well as 5.1-channel amplifier and speaker system. The Cinemarium features two-way satellite speakers and subwoofer, as well as built-in MPEG-2 AAC decoding for broadcast satellite digital broadcast.
