Draper, Inc. To Show Patented Zero Edge VideoWall At NAB

27-Mar-01

Although the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2001 convention will take place among the bright lights and glitz of Las Vegas, Draper, Inc. may very well steal the show. Draper will be showing off its patented Zero Edge VideoWall, an optically seamless large screen videowall framing system. Draperís mullionless Zero Edge incorporates a patented screen attachment system, which is supported by extruded aluminum light baffles on all four sides. This mullionless design allows adjacent screens - both side-by-side and upper and lower screens - to come together with only half a millimeter of screen separation, creating a visually seamless appearance. Because individual modules are completely self-supporting, individual screens wonít warp. This also allows videowall assembly in any configuration, including panoramic or tilted. Zero Edge VideoWall modules are designed to assemble and install on site within an existing rough opening. They can also be provided as part of a Draper MultiScreen System, which is self-supporting and freestanding.
