With the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in town this week, the hot topic is digital television - but not just for engineers and media moguls. Panasonic DTV product highlights include:- Tau PureFlatô direct-view and projection HDTV monitors: CT-34WX50 (34-inch diagonal) 16:9 wide screen direct-view set, and PT-47WX51 (47-inch diagonal) 16:9 rear-projection set. The company's Tau PureFlat series televisions feature a perfectly flat screen. - The PT-42PD2-P 42-inch (diagonal) 16:9 plasma display features an incredible contrast ratio of 3000:1, and a maximum brightness level of 650 cd/m2.- PT-52DL10 52-inch (diagonal) Digital Light Processing(tm) Technology-based rear-projection 16:9 HDTV monitor. This set is compatible with 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i, and displays in 1280 x 720 resolution. Using a series of micro-mirrors to create brilliant, distortion-free images, the PT-52DL10 delivers an astonishing picture with a wide viewing angle. - Sleek, elegant, 15-inch and 22-inch (diagonal screen measurement) tabletop LCD televisions that combine a brilliant, high resolution 16:9 picture and impressive stereo sound.
