Path 1 First To Deliver Broadcast-Quality Video Over A Coast-To-Coast IP Network

(Path 1, OTCBB: PNWK, Frankfurt: PNT) announced the initial deployment of its technology platform enabling broadcast-quality video transmission over an Internet Protocol (IP) network in a cross-country demonstration with a major U.S. Tier-1 Carrier. The demonstration links Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta, Georgia over a long-haul IP backbone network. Using Path 1 technology, the carrier is delivering stable MPEG-2, 4:2:2 video through legacy network equipment. Path 1 is the first company in the market to demonstrate that IP networks can be used reliably for high bandwidth, real-time applications such as video broadcast and video entertainment content transmission.
