14-May-01

Stewart Filmscreen introduces GrayHawk to the industrial market. GrayHawk is a gray-based flexible screen material designed solely to enhance black levels, shadow detailing, and overall color saturation. The material's unique translucent optical coating combined with the gray-based undercoating maximizes image fidelity for LCD, DLPô, and D-ILAô projection technologies. GrayHawk is leading the industry in a new direction. Projector systems today produce very high lumens output, creating the need to increase black levels and shadow details. GrayHawk combined with LCD, DLPô and D-ILAô projectors create impressive images. With a 160-degree viewing angle and a gain of .95 with optical coating, GrayHawk maintains a bright and vibrant image. Even in ambient light, the GrayHawk will continue to uphold the fidelity of the image. The screen is available in all fixed and motorized retractable frames with optional THXÆ Ultra-certified micro-perforations. The GrayHawk increases a presenter's ability to communicate. GrayHawk is the perfect solutions to business environments that function with medium to high levels of light. The screen maintains bright colors and sharp images. The screen is perfect in boardrooms, training rooms, churches, and other high ambient light environments. Stewart Filmscreen has led the screen industry in new innovations since the 1940s. Stewart has two AcademyÆ Awards for Science and Technological Achievement. Stewart Filmscreen Corporation created such innovations as tab tensioning, seamless front and rear screens, traveling matte blue screen, Optawave (wide angle viewing envelope) BlackHawk, and Microperf (in collaboration with Lucasfilm).
