Luce introduced the worldís first high definition 22-inch, 16:9 ratio widescreen liquid crystal television at the Home Entertainment Show. Luceís model LCTV220A offers super-high WXGA (1600 x 1200 pixel) resolution, an integrated 181-channel cable ready tuner, S-Video and composite video inputs, as well as PC/Mac computer inputs. Luce, a product of In-Formation Display Technologies, Inc. (IDT) also introduced two plasma display technology models in 42- and 50-inch screen sizes, as well as their second generation of LCD flat-panel technology-based TVs and monitors.
