ImageCrafters, Inc., a Massachusetts-based design and distribution company, introduced new products in their IC Lights, IC Chairs, and IC Woodworks lines. The highlight of the product introductions was the new Quatro, the first recliner of its kind - a customizable seating system specifically tailored for home theatres.IC Chair's Quatro seating system was developed by ImageCrafters' team of designers to give home movie enthusiasts the most comfortable and stylish seat in the house. The Quatro is unique in that the ten position head rest can be set for the ideal height for any person, while infinitely adjustable tilt in the head rest is designed for comfort. The angle of the back and leg support work together allowing users to elevate their feet without noticeably effecting the recline. To maximize the function of the system, there is also a choice of four armrest configurations: single-arm, double-arm, pie-shaped, plus an arm with a storage compartment. Thus, the Quatro can be ordered as a single chair or multiple chairs, connected to create as wide a row of seats as needed for any home theatre. As with all the chairs in the Home Theater Collection, the Quatro can be ordered in a choice of colors and materials including over eighty different Nova Suedes, a man-made material offering exceptional comfort and durability, as well as easy care and stain resistance. In addition, eight leathers and a variety of fabrics are available. ImageCrafters will even custom-build Quatro seating systems with customer supplied fabric for the ultimate in design flexibility.ImageCrafters was started in 1997 by Spencer Kalker & Jeff Kirsch (founders of CWD) and Bill Weidman (former Managing Director of NAD).
