RBH Sound introduces the 641-SE, a new addition to their Signature Series line of loudspeakers. Available in more than 30 real hardwood veneer finishes, these compact towers will please audio and home theatre enthusiasts, as well as those conscious of their decor.The 641-SE is a three-way tower speaker featuring two 6.5-inch aluminum woofers that can effortlessly handle floor-shaking bass information down to 45 Hz. RBH uses high quality, hand-built second-order crossovers to seamlessly integrate the woofers with the 4-inch aluminum mid-range and 1-inch silk dome tweeter. As with all of their Signature Series speakers, RBH uses aluminum bass and midrange drivers for their speed and accuracy, and silk dome tweeters for their neutral and lush high frequency extension.RBH uses only the highest quality parts, and goes to great lengths to ensure quality craftsmanship when building their Signature Series line of speakers. KaptonÆ voice coils provide for minimal distortion and high temperature resistance, while the tweeter is cooled and damped using a magnetic liquid that is injected into the voice coil gap to guarantee unforgettable imaging and a longer lasting tweeter. The 641-SE is soundly constructed using MDF (medium density fiberboard) materials and is internally braced to ensure structural integrity and completely eliminate unwanted cabinet resonance. Suggested retail price of the 641-SE is $1,500 per pair in black oak wood grain, and $1875 per pair in any of thirty real hardwood veneer finishes.
