Richard Gray'sô Power Company Model 1200s Solves Surge Suppression And AC Power Needs

Patented Surge Suppression System Protects Gear From ""The Big One"" As Well As Repeated Abuse From Day-To-Day Surges

When addressing AC power needs many custom installers have come to rely on Richard Gray'sô Power Company (RGPC). Featuring twelve, 20-amp Hubbell outlets the 1200S can accommodate up to twelve components with absolutely no current limitation. In larger systems that require two or more 1200S units, the customer will experience the extra benefit of the RGPC's patented parallel technology. By connecting two or more 1200S units in a ""star cluster"" array, they will achieve even greater incremental improvements with each unit added. With the 1200S, the dealer/installer is not just selling their customer a ""slave"" unit, but a reactive AC interface that eliminates AC line noise, offers state-of-the-art surge suppression and is the most cost-effective A/V upgrade currently available. The RGPC 1200S overcomes lapses in an AC line, by working cycle-to-cycle to fill in the cyclic dips in the line when demand momentarily overcomes supply. RGPC's patented proprietary design includes a large inductor surrounding a unique core structure. This ""choke"" is positioned in parallel with the AC line, providing the straight-through path components require to work as they were intended. RGPC's patented surge suppression technology is a significant reassurance for those who invest a great deal of time, energy and money into an audio/video system. Traditional power line conditioners and surge protectors offer limited protection by way of an MOV (metal oxide variable resistor). These ""sacrificial"" MOVs are intended to self-destruct when an over-voltage is detected. Since most MOVs are set to blow at a certain voltage level, they cannot protect from repeated surges of up to 1500 volts, which will eventually break down solid-state devices. The huge inductor inside the 1200S actually protects the onboard MOV that is set to blow only if a surge makes its way past the inductor. The advantage of this type of surge suppression is its ability to absorb small surges, usually ignored by line conditioners. For RGPC, the MOV is only a last resort and is completely transparent in any A/V system. The RGPC 1200S' patented technology causes all components to perform at an optimum and efficient level. The 1200S provides video images with more vibrant colors and better black level detail in all video formats, including high definition, for increased front-to-back dimensionality. In their music systems, customers will appreciate a more dynamic presentation, a better-defined soundstage, improved imaging and depth -- in short, an enhanced musical involvement. Its ""electric flywheel"" effect stores and instantaneously releases energy on-demand to supply energy to components that are often starved for current by the resistance on a soft AC line. Richard Gray's Power Company designs, engineers and manufactures high-end audio and home theatre components that deliver cleaner power needed to boost a system's performance. The line enhancers place components ""electrically"" closer to utility company transformers, eliminating any noise, cross talk and power drains that detract from a system's ability to accurately reproduce audio and video. The MSRP of the RGPC 1200S is $2000 in anodized black, $2100 in anodized silver. Customized faceplates to fit Middle Atlantic rack are also available.
