New Satellite Dish Antenna With Third LNB Will Afford Customers The Option Of Receiving HDTV Programming

TERK Technologies, renowned for their line of highly engineered antennas and multi-room A/V systems, will premiere three new DIRECTVÆ-approved satellite products at CEDIA EXPO 2001 -- the TRK-S24, a DIRECTV multi-satellite dish antenna featuring a third LNB for future DIRECTV programming from the 110-degree orbital location, the new Sat C installation kit, which upgrades an existing multi-satellite dish antenna to a three-LNB dish antenna, and the TRK-S23, a remodeled upgrade to the current DIRECTV multi-satellite dish offering.The new TRK-S23 DIRECTV Multi-Satellite dish antenna will be an upgraded version of the TRK-S22 model, which was an 18- by 24-inch DIRECTV satellite dish antenna featuring two dual LNBs and a four-output (4 x 4) multi-switch, for hookup to as many as four receivers. The TRK-S23 model will also be a multi-satellite dish antenna with two dual LNBs, but will now feature the following upgrades for easier installation:- Integrated (5 x 4) multi-switchThis new multi-switch has five inputs plus a built in diplexer. This means that an installer already has the input for the 110-degree location built-in and doesn't need to bother with additional cables or parts when adding a third LNB -- a clean and easy install.- Enhanced DesignThe new design is smaller in surface area and weathers better than traditional plastic dishes. The dish is also manufactured with a refined and improved mounting system, featuring two bolts on the mast pipe and three-way tilt for easier rotation and installation.The new TRK-S24 model will have the same features as the new TRK-S23 model, plus it will feature the addition of a third LNB. The third LNB is required in order to receive future DIRECTV programming from the 110-degree orbital location. This triple-LNB satellite dish is approved by DIRECTV and will better position those consumers choosing to install this antenna to receive future DIRECTV programming as it becomes available. All the DIRECTV satellite dish antennas manufactured by TERK are weather-resistant and can withstand 50-75 mph winds to provide durability for years of service. All TERK manufactured dishes come complete with antenna; mount assembly including bracket, arm, mast and base; cables and necessary hardware. The antennas are easy to install and adjust, and deliver sturdy support to maintain optimal positioning.TERK will also introduce their new Sat C installation kit (LNB-CBP). The Sat C kit is specifically designed for those customers who currently have an 18- x 24-inch DIRECTV multi-satellite dish antenna and would like to be upgraded in order to receive future DIRECTV programming from the 110-degree orbital location. The kit contains all of the necessary pieces to easily convert an existing 18- x 24-inch DIRECTV multi-satellite dish with two LNBs to a triple-LNB dish.
