Boston Acoustics Introduces Three New Flush-Mount Indoor/Outdoor Speakers

Boston Acoustics announced the introduction of three new Designer Series flush-mount in-wall and in-ceiling speakers built for indoor and outdoor use. The new models are designed to be used in any residential or marine environments.All models are finished in soft white, and can be painted to match any surface to provide customers with room design and placement versatility. These new speakers feature durable aluminum powder-coated grilles, and UV-resistant polycarbonate baffles to stand up to any challenging indoor or outdoor environment. These new models feature the famous ""Boston Sound"" and are equally at home in a high performance home theatre installation, a bathroom or even installed on a luxury yacht.All three models share Boston's famous 1-inch Kortec tweeter for smooth high frequency performance, with very wide dispersion to cover the listening area equally with no ""sweet spots."" All woofers feature state-of-the-art injection-molded copolmer cones with ""over-molded"" integrated surrounds that ensure high power handling, deep bass response and years of trouble-free service.The two-way DSi450 is priced at $300 per pair MSRP and features a 5-1/4-inch woofer, while the DSi460 priced at $400 per pair MSRP, offers an 6-1/2-inch DCD deep channel design woofer. The largest model in this new line, the DSi480, priced at $500 per pair, boasts an 8-inch DCD woofer. All three new models share the same popular rectangular shape.
