Madrigal Adds Three New Products For Audioaccess Brand

Madrigal announced that three new products will be introduced this fall for the Audioaccess brand. The first product to be released, the MA-361 Twelve-Channel Digital Amplifier is designed, engineered and manufactured by Madrigal.""We believe that the Audioaccess MA-361 will establish a new standard for high quality multi-room power amplifiers,"" noted Phil Muzio, Madrigal Chief Executive Officer. ""The combination of the MA 361's power, sonic quality, small size and ease of installation is unmatched within the multi-room industry,"" Muzio continued.The MA-361 features twelve channels of efficient digital amplification at 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with all channels driven. Seven-band graphic equalization is included for each stereo zone. All amplifier settings are programmed with the proprietary Audioaccess Installation Manager software program and then downloaded into the amplifier. Optional Tone Control/Volume cards will also be available. Delivery is scheduled for fall 2001 and the projected retail price will be approximately $5,000.The second product to be introduced, the VX-241 Video Matrix Switcher, adds video routing capabilities to the Audioaccess PX-700 Multi-Room System. Also designed and manufactured by Madrigal, the VX-241 is capable of switching eight composite video signals as a standalone product, or S-Video, component or RGB signals when multiple units are cascaded together. Designed specifically to provide broadcast quality video signals, each of the eight outputs of the VX-241 can easily drive 100 meters of standard coax cable in a residence. The result is higher performance from the VX-241 than competing units that modulate the signal for distribution, and a much lower price than comparable professional video switchers.""The VX-241 Video Switcher creates a whole new dimension for the Audioaccess Multi-Room System,"" commented Phil Muzio, Madrigal's CEO. Like the MA-361 amplifier, the VX-241 is configured using the Audioaccess Installation Manager application. Once the programming is completed, all settings are downloaded from a laptop or PC to the VX-241. Projected retail will be approximately $1,500.The MA-362 Twelve Channel Amplifier, conceived as a replacement for the existing multiroom amplifier in the Audioaccess product line, is the third product that Madrigal will be introducing later this fall. The unit will feature twelve channels of amplification at 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with less than 0.05% THD, all channels driven. Power into a 4-ohm load is rated at 75 watts per channel, and channels may be bridged if higher power is required. ""The MA-362 represents an outstanding value in terms of ease of installation, sonic quality and reliability,"" said Phil Muzio, Madrigal CEO.
