Ultimate Electronics Wins Top Monster Award For Second Year In A Row

Crosby, Stills And Nash Entertain A Standing Room Only Concert Crowd

Monster CableÆ's annual Dealer Awards and Concert was the hot ticket for those attending the 2002 International CES. The grand ballroom at the Mirage hotel was filled to capacity with 3,000 guests attending the festivities in honor of the Most Monstrous Dealers of the Year Awards. The evening began with a stirring video tribute to the heroes of September 11, followed by the awards presentation. Ultimate Electronics was a triple threat with the highest Monster sales numbers in three categories for the second year in a row. Ultimate earned a whopping $474,000 per store by selling Monster products. This was 10 percent of Ultimate's total sales. Besides earning the Gold Award, Ultimate also won Most Monsterous Audio/Video Specialty Chain and Most Monsterous Car Audio Chain Retailer. Noel Lee, the Head Monster, presided over the awards portion of the evening.After the awards, Crosby, Stills and Nash headlined at the concert. The band played from their extraordinary number of hits for nearly 90 minutes. ""Teach Your Children,"" ""Our House,"" ""Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,"" and ""Marrakesh Express"" were just a few of their many songs. At the end of the evening, Noel Lee presented a Monster Lifetime Achievement giant connector award to Crosby, Stills and Nash and welcomed them into the Monster family.
