Meridian Joins Piega For Sanibel Sound's DVD-Audio Demos At Home Entertainment 2002 Show

Sanibel Sound, importer and distributor of high-end audio products, has announced that Meridian Audio has joined its DVD-Audio demonstration at Home Entertainment 2002 in New York, May 30 through June 2. The presentation will feature Meridian's new 800 Series CD/DVD-Audio player, Reference 861 Surround Processor, and the world's first multichannel digital connection. This system will be heard through Piega P5 Limited speakers and matching Piega subwoofers. ""It is a privilege and a pleasure to have Meridian in the room for this demonstration,"" said Steve Davis, President of Sanibel Sound. Andy Regan, Vice President of Meridian America, said, ""This demo will be an excellent opportunity for the audiophiles to hear 96/24 DVD-Audio, as well as to have their questions about this exciting new format answered by industry experts, such as Mark Waldrep from AIX Records."" The presentation will be held in the 1,500 square-foot Murray Hill Suite B of the New York Hilton and Towers. Chapter Amplifiers will power the Piega speakers and AIX Records and HiRez DVD-Audio discs will supply the DVD-Audio software.
