MSB Technology Introduces New Eight-Channel Volume Controller

MSB Technology Corporation has announced the arrival of their latest product, the Multiple Volume Control -1 (MVC-1). This unit offers eight channels of volume attenuation and up to 9 dB of gain.The MVC-1 features an IR remote and front panel push buttons, as well as a graphical LED display which gives you all the information needed, in a single row of LEDs. Actual volume control is controlled by the switching of high quality resistors in the signal path, all in the analog domain. The audio signal remains in the analog domain throughout the MVC-1. Each of the eight channels can be individually trimmed via the front panel or the IR Remote.An array of internal setup options allow for many configurations. Channels can be summed together to create side channel outputs, an extra subwoofer output, stereo subwoofer configurations, a center rear channel, and more. For the two-channel audiophile, a standard configuration for two channels in and two channels out is possible. There are also configurations for bi-amping and tri-amping with complete level control of each speaker. The MVC-1 is priced at just under $800.
