Digital Projection International (DPI) announced the launch of new home cinema projector systems incorporating ""dark metal"" three-chip DLPô technology by Texas Instruments, along with a line of high-contrast optics and proprietary modifications engineered for its HIGHlite and Thunder series projectors. The new enhancements achieve the industry's highest contrast ratios, up to 1200:1. This level of contrast performance represents an increase of 220 percent when compared to the company's previous three-chip DLP models and are sold as systems packages for home theatres that demand a premium display solution. ""Our new, super-high-contrast projectors are outstanding display solutions for home imaging applications that benefit from good control over ambient light. With contrast ratios up to 1200:1, three-chip DLP displays by Digital Projection remain color accurate, high-lumen powerhouses that now deliver black level detail beyond any other large-venue imaging technology,"" said George Walter, Digital Projection's Home Cinema Marketing Manager.Systems includes high-performance lens, spare lamp module, and remote control.HIGHlite 4100gv, $48,995 3,500 ANSI Lumens, 500:1 Contrast Ratio (On/Off)HIGHlite 5100gv, $63,9954,500 ANSI Lumens, 500:1 Contrast Ratio (On/Off)HIGHlite 4000Dsx, $64,995 (Dark Metal)3,500 ANSI Lumens, 800:1 Contrast Ratio (On/Off)HIGHlite 6000Dsx, $79,995 (Dark Metal)5,000 ANSI Lumens, 800:1 Contrast Ratio (On/Off)HIGHlite GOLD HC, $69,995 (Dark Metal)2,750 ANSI Lumens, 1200:1 Contrast Ratio (On/Off)HIGHlite PLATINUM HC , $84,995 (Dark Metal)3,600 ANSI Lumens, 1200:1 Contrast Ratio (On/Off)THUNDER PLATINUM HC, $125,995 (Dark Metal)3,600 ANSI Lumens, 1200:1 Contrast Ratio (On/Off)For more information about Digital Projection, visit www.digitalprojection.com.
