Discovery HD Theaterô, the new 24-hour HDTV channel from Discovery Networks, will telecast three IMAXÆ films this fall--the first-ever telecine transfer of an IMAX 15/70 format (15-perforation/70mm) film.The three films, ""Africa's Elephant Kingdom,"" ""The Human Body,"" and ""Wildfire,"" were all originally filmed in IMAX's 15/70 format. Hollywood-based Crest National transferred two of the three IMAX films directly to a high-definition television format for Discovery HD Theater. Wildfire was transferred from a 35mm copy of the film at Crawford Communications in Atlanta.
