i-O Display Systems, LLC has introduced i-glasses HRV, the first head-mounted display system that offers video resolution higher than a standard television. The new i-glasses HRV uses two 800 x 600 resolution micro-displays and features Faroudja resolution doubling technology.i-glasses HRV, compatible with VCRs, DVD players, game consoles, and many camcorders, is the first consumer-priced video head-mounted display to produce the ""virtual theater"" effect of a high-definition television (HDTV).i-glasses HRV are a lightweight (8 ounces) pair of glasses with tiny embedded liquid crystal displays and an advanced optical design based on the display technology used in modern fighter jets.
