Toshiba Introduces Two New Carousel DVD Players

Toshiba has announced the addition of two five-disc carousel DVD/CD players, the SD-2815 and SD-3815.The SD-2815 and SD-3815 feature a new slim and streamlined design, approximately half the size of traditional CD changers. Both models feature Toshiba's ColorStreamÆ component video output. The SD-3815 offers ColorStream PROÆ progressive scan output. Both models provide the consumer ultimate flexibility in display and audio formats, and the classic style and progressive design allow for complementary appeal in the home theatre environment.""The SD-2815 and SD-3815 deliver MP3 audio compatibility. The analog audio outputs include 3-D surround sound.The SD-2815 and SD-3815 feature expanded front panel controls, including a new one-touch picture zoom button. For one-touch access to favorite movie scenes, the bookmarking function enables users to mark up to nine scenes on the loaded DVDs and recall each scene instantly though two buttons on the remote control. Both models also support Toshiba's Digital Photo Viewer, enabling users to view JPEG images on a CD-R. A variety of digital formats are supported, and users can select from a list of titles via an on-screen display.The SD-2815 is available in a black cabinet and carries a suggested retail price of $199.99.
