Palm Pictures and Definitive Jux Records today announced that the two companies are collaborating a special hip-hop DVD project entitled ""Definitive Jux Presents: Revenge of the Robots."" The DVD project, which is Definitive Jux's first foray into the DVD format, is poised to be a ""must have"" collection of images, music, and exclusive features for those interested in the ever-growing hip-hop scene. ""Definitive Jux Presents: Revenge of the Robots,"" which is due out in the Spring of 2003, will feature exclusive footage from the 2002 ""Revenge of the Robots"" North American and European tours, following indie hip-hop stars El-P, RJD2, Mr. Lif, DJ Fakts One plus Cage, and Aesop Rock. The DVD presentation will include a behind-the-scenes look at the tour and exclusive interviews with key artists. It will also include Def Jux music videos from EL-P, Cannibal Ox, Mr. Lif and more. Footage from the Dutch-made documentary on Definitive Jux entitled ""Bazooka Tooth"" will also be available on the DVD, along with artist information, the interactive hip-hop trivia game 'Devolution' from Definitive Jux and more special features.
