With six surround recordings cited in ten categories, DTSÆ Entertainment (DTSE) has garnered the most nominations of any participating record label for the 2002 Surround Music Awards. The finalists were announced December 3, 2002 by awards sponsor United Entertainment Media, and the winners will be revealed during the Fourth Annual Surround 2002 Conference & Showcase on the evening of December 13, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The nominees for each category wereselected by an expert panel of industry professionals from submissions by record companies, studios, andrecording artists.In addition to DTSE's numerous award nominations, Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Graham Nash has been named Surround Music Artist of the Year for his breakthrough DVD-Audio release, ""Songs For Survivors,"" a DTSE exclusive.
