Marantz America introduced a new 15-inch LCD TV/Monitor (model LC1510) that gives consumers the ideal solution for enjoying high-quality television anywhere in the home. Along with its stylish and ultra-compact flat-panel design, the LC1510 boasts exceptional picture quality that is significantly brighter than its predecessor. A special swivel mounting arm and available optional wall-mount and under-the-counter mounting brackets provide exceptional installation flexibility. The Marantz LC1510's high-resolution 1024 x 768 color active matrix TFT LCD (liquid crystal display) panel provides sharp pictures with high contrast and 400 cd/m2 brightness--more than 60 percent brighter than Marantz's previous LCD TV/monitor. Image quality is further enhanced by the set's Digital Color Filter and digital comb filter, an anti-glare screen coating, and other advanced video technologies. The Marantz LC1510 includes a built-in 181-channel tuner and is compatible with a wide variety of analog and digital video sources including HDTV broadcasts. The set features progressive scan (480p) component video inputs, as well as S-video and composite video inputs, and a DTV/PC input that accepts the signal from a DTV/HDTV set-top box or computer. The LC1510 digitally upconverts standard NTSC analog television broadcasts and ATSC digital signals to 1024 x 768 resolution. Along with its full complement of video inputs, the Marantz LC1510 features stereo audio inputs, a built-in stereo amplifier and speakers, plus a headphone jack for private listening. Like all Marantz high-performance video display devices, the LC1510 offers a broad range of picture adjustment and user convenience functions, all accessible via its easy-to-use, multi-language on-screen menu, and ergonomic remote control.
