Revolutionary SENSIO 3D video processor, developed by SENSIO and distributed by Audio Plus Services, received a Innovations 2003 Award in the video category. The Innovations 2003 Award honorees were recently announced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), in conjunction with the International Consumer Electronics Show 2003 (CES). The Innovation Awards, the most widely renowned consumer technology awards program, recognizes products that exhibit excellence in design and engineering. SENSIO launched the SENSIO 3D video processor at CES. The stereoscopic video processor is the first product derived from patent-pending SENSIO 3D technology, a revolutionary digital video process allowing the broadcast and storage of stereoscopic (3-D) movies for home viewing. ""SENSIO is targeting mid- to high-end home theatre systems owners. The SENSIO 3D processor puts viewers in a world so real, they can almost reach out and touch it,"" said Nicholas Routhier, President of SENSIO. Successfully introduced last September at CEDIA 2002 in Minneapolis during private demonstrations to major retailers and trade journalists who specialize in home theatre systems, the SENSIO 3D processor is now ready for orders. Audio Plus Services has signed up with SENSIO for all retail North American Sales. SENSIO is also working in partnership with post-production companies and technical service facilities to offer a larger choice of 3-D movies to owners of the SENSIO 3D processor. There are approximately 150 titles available with ten new films currently in production, including a new title directed by James Cameron (""Titanic""). SENSIO has signed an agreement with Technicolor, via its Canadian subsidiary Covitec, in order to jointly offer to studios and independent 3-D movie producers and distributors the new SENSIO 3D formatting service, which converts 3-D movies to stereoscopic DVD. About SENSIO Founded in 1999 and privately held, SENSIO brings the home movie experience to its next level by developing and marketing avant-garde technologies that offer the most advanced and immersive movie theatre experience to home viewers. The first product derived from SENSIO's research and development effort is SENSIO 3D, a revolutionary video processor transforming the conventional home theatre into a 3-D stereoscopic movie experience.
