JVC Showcases Future Of High-Definition Video Recording

JVC Company of America announced the launch of a nationwide retail promotion supporting the high-definition home entertainment experience. Through a series of in-store demonstrations, JVC will present consumers with an informative display of D-VHSÆ, which, as an extension of both the VHS format and HDTV, offers an increasing number of consumers with high-definition television monitors the highest-quality home theatre experience available. JVC's nationwide in-store events will demonstrate the value the D-VHS format brings to retailers and consumers. JVC and D-VHS are playing a significant role in the growth of HDTV by providing the only high-definition record/playback solution available in the consumer marketplace, and D-Theaterô playback capability offers the first-ever prerecorded HD movies. JVC invented and is supplying consumers with the best and only source possible for viewing HD movies.
