Neural Audio Technology Delivers 5.1 Surround Sound Innovation For CBS Final Four

Neural Audio, Inc. which is bringing digital broadcast solutions to the marketplace in conjunction with Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), announced that its neural algorithm-based 5.1 technology is delivering innovations that will allow digital broadcasters such as CBS Sports to serve consumers with the 5.1 surround sound content they seek. 5.1 For NCAA Final Four HD TV Broadcast In collaboration with CBS Sports, Neural Audio implemented its 5.1 Sports Event Capture Array (SECA) in 12 HDTV CBS games during the 2003 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, including the Final Four and Championship game in New Orleans. The SECA system, operating with only one array located behind each basket, is the industry's only system that can deliver a 5.1 experience to consumers over a stereo backbone merging court action, announcer, and crowd audio in a perceptual window.
