Orchestra Of St. Luke's Releases New Mozart CD On Own Label

The Orchestra of St. Luke's is proud to present this glorious new recording of Mozart's 39th and 41st Symphonies with Principal Conductor Donald Runnicles. The debut release of St. Luke's new recording label, St. Luke's Collection, is produced in state-of-the-art, surround-sound Hybrid SACD format and can be played on any standard Compact Disc player. Mozart wrote Symphonies Nos. 39 and 41 during the bleak summer of 1788, when the economy was bad, he could not pay his bills, and his infant daughter died. These symphonies are Mozart's lyrical, refreshing, astonishing responses to tough times. Included tracks are: 1. Symphony no 39 in E flat major, K 543 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 2. Symphony no 41 in C major, K 551 ""Jupiter"" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Readers can purchase the first CD in the St. Luke's Collection online at St. Luke's special low price of $15.00 (suggested retail price $19.99).
