CEDIA EXPO Breaks Into Top 100 Largest U.S. Trade Shows

2-Jun-03

The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), the leading trade organization dedicated to the connected home industry, announced that its annual trade exposition has broken into the ranks of the top 100 trade shows in the United States. CEDIA EXPO, the annual trade show where the industry's latest home networking trends and breakthrough technologies are unveiled, is now the 95th largest U.S. trade show. The top 200 trade shows were announced by Tradeshow Week magazine. CEDIA EXPO, which will be held September 3-7, 2003 at the Indiana Convention Center & RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana, is the only show that meets the specialized needs of the residential custom electronics industry. CEDIA EXPO ranked in 2001 as the 122nd largest trade show. Additionally, CEDIA EXPO 2001 was recognized by Tradeshow Week as one of only two shows to grow in net square footage in the number of exhibiting firms in the second half of 2001. ""Our entry into the top 100 trade shows in the U.S. indicates the pace at which this industry continues to grow,"" said Billilynne Keller, CEDIA's Executive Director. ""The rapid growth of CEDIA and its member companies since the association's founding 14 years ago is a sign of the rich possibilities within the thriving custom electronic design and installation systems market.""
