Gefen Introduces New 4x4 DVI Matrix Switch

Initially unveiled at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) show in Las Vegas, Gefen's 4x4 DVI Matrix Switch enables access to multiple digital video devices. Tailored to home theatres and other environments that use digital flat-panel displays, projectors, or high-definition televisions (HDTV), the 4x4 DVI Matrix Switch offers flexibility in routing four DVI sources to four DVI displays.Once connected and powered, each source is assigned to one of the displays. The 4x4 DVI Matrix Switch employs the full DVI bandwidth to transmit digital video signals from the DVI source, through the matrix and to the displays. It weighs less than eight pounds and takes up relatively little space, and is a rack-mountable unit that is equipped with four DVI inputs, four DVI display outputs, and USB outputs.
