The DPS-5.4 features both RCA and BNC component video outputs, as well as two sets of S-video and composite video outputs. The player's deinterlacing circuitry includes 3:2 pulldown for progressive scan output of film-based video. For audio reproduction, the DPS-5.4 features 192 kHz/24-bit linear PCM audio DACs, coupled with the company's Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC) for smoother and more linear analog output.
