HDNet's exclusive live television coverage of CART Champ Car's Mario Andretti Grand Prix at Road America Presented by Briggs & Stratton begins Friday, August 1 with practice and qualifying rounds, and extends through the live race on Sunday, August 3. In addition to cable and satellite distributors currently carrying HDNet, DISH Networkô will provide its customers with race coverage throughout the weekend, free on channel 9425.The broadcast, using 16 high-definition cameras and two HD mobile units along the 4.048-mile course, will feature more than 12 hours of live and original programming, including (all times Eastern):Friday, August 1: 10:30am-1:00pm, 3:30pm-4:30pm (Practice #1 and Qualifying #1)Saturday, August 2: 11:00am-1:00pm, 2:30pm-4:00pm (Practice #2 and Qualifying #2)Sunday, August 3: 12:00pm-5:30pm (Race Day)Through special arrangement with CART, racing fans in California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio can experience the live HDTV CART action at race-day viewing parties at several establishments.
