The CW-42i offers a native resolution of 853 x 480 and accepts all available HDTV formats (via an outboard DTV decoder), including 480p, 720p, and 1080i. Multiple aspect ratio control includes Runco Virtual Wide mode to fill the 16:9 screen with standard 4:3 images without loss of picture quality. There are a number of inputs (including DVI with HDCP for 480p digital video signals), and custom automation control is handled with RS-232C and IR interfaces. Runco incorporates its acclaimed ViViXô processing into the CW-42i.
