More than 200 million consumer electronics products containing DTSÆ-licensed technology or intellectual property have been sold worldwide. Unit sales of consumer electronics products with DTS technology or intellectual property reached 3,000 units in its first year of availability, and reached 100 million units as of August 2002. DTS-licensed products include DVD players, receivers, amplifiers, preamplifiers/surround processors, video game consoles, car audio processors and head units, PC-based software decoders, and 5.1-channel speaker systems for the PC.
