JVC Professional Products Company announced the availability of the DLA-HX1U projector. This latest JVC three-chip D-ILAÆ projector delivers native 1400 x 788 resolution and a native 16:9 aspect ratio.The DLA-HX1U uses three reflective 1.1-megapixel WXGA-PLUS 16:9 Direct Drive Image Light Amplifier (D-ILA) chips.""Our products have traditionally been oriented toward professional customers and professional applications,"" explained Edgar Shane, Product Manager of JVC Professional Products Company. The DLA-HX1U accepts analog signals including 720p, 1080i, 1080/24-30 and HDTV formats. The DLA-HX1U offers discrete IR codes and separate on/off remote control commands.The DLA-HX1U will be available in December 2003 exclusively through home theatre distributors and custom installers.
