9-Sep-03

InFocus Corporation (NASDAQ: INFS) previewed its new ScreenPlayô 7205, its newest home projector for the custom and install market. ""The ScreenPlay 7205 is the latest example of how InFocus continues to exceed expectations for home theatre projection by delivering outstanding video projection performance without compromise,"" said Scott Hix, Vice President and General Manager of InFocus Business Development. ""The ScreenPlay 7205 is proof positive of our dedication to provide what our CEDIA partners want: the finest projector performance for their customers. InFocus now has a family of home theatre projectors that deliver the greatest experience in home theatre."" In the last twelve months, the company has launched three new ScreenPlay projectors and received industry awards including the CEDIA award naming the ScreenPlay 7200 ""Best Video Product of the Year."" The ScreenPlay 7205 is built on the platform of the ScreenPlay 7200 and boasts improved performance and enhanced features. Primary among these is more contrast through inclusion of the new ""Mustang"" HD2+ DLPô chipset from Texas Instruments. The HD2+ features improved planarity for increased brightness and contrast and reduced pixel structures. The ScreenPlay 7205 has a custom-designed seven-segment, 5x wheel and comes calibrated at D6500 color temperature. Committed to delivering the absolute best products, the ScreenPlay 7205 comes with enhanced Faroudja DCDiô processing via the FLI2310. The FLI2310 features a new 3:2 to 2:2 pulldown conversion circuit. Rounding out the new features is the addition of an InFocus 35mm lens. For increased installation flexibility, the 72mm standard filter thread can be used for color filtering applications or neutral density, allowing the use of smaller screen sizes. The ScreenPlay 7205 will be available in the first quarter of 2004. For more information about InFocus Corporation, visit www.infocus.com.
