V Inc. Announces Plans To Enter LCD TV Market

V Inc. announced the addition of the L6 LCD TV/Monitor to its Vizio line of digital flat-panel displays. The Vizio L6 is a 20.1-inch TFT LCD TV with built-in NTSC tuner and speakers, and can display both video and PC content. The Vizio L6 will be available in October 2003 with a suggested retail price of $999 including swivel/tilt stand and standard remote control.Key features include:- 20.1-inch TFT Active Matrix VGA LCD- Anti-glare/anti-reflective coated screen- 160-degree viewing angle- Built-in 181-channel NTSC/PAL/SECAM tuner with closed captioning- Built-in speakers- Wall-mountable (unit sold separately)- Picture-in-picture and picture-on-picture viewing- Swivel/tilt tabletop stand and standard remote control- PC and MAC (up to 1024 x 768) and HDTV (480p/720p/1080i) signal compatibility- True digital DVI-D input (Digital Visual Interface)- Component video, S-video, composite, and RF video inputsOptional accessories include a wall-mount unit and DVI-D cables in 2-, 6- and 10-meter lengths.
