TV One introduces the C2-770 Universal Video Scaler. The C2-770 is based on the company's proprietary CORIO2 technology. The C2-770 handles any resolution up to 2048 x 2048. It offers video upconversion and downconversion, and source switching, but also can function as a worldwide video standards converter, as well as provide chroma keying, luma keying, picture-in-picture, logo insertion, digital-to-analog conversion, HDTV conversion, aspect ratio conversion, frame synchronization, time-base correction, and universal image genlock. The C2-770 has nine inputs and four outputs, plus two preview outputs, and can handle composite, S-video, YPbPr, and RGBHV. Its windowing flexibility allows any video source to be inserted into any other video source, regardless of the format. In addition to front-panel controls via a rotary encoder and LCD display, the unit can be controlled by IR and has an RS-232 interface.
