Canton has expanded its LE line with the new 200 series home theatre loudspeakers, consisting of a three-way tower, a horizontal center channel, and a bookshelf monitor. Designed and manufactured by Canton from the ground up, the models each feature the same driver components and acoustic signature.The LE 207 is a three-way tower speaker that employs a 1-inch fabric tweeter, and two identical 5-inch polypropylene drivers, one handling bass and the other midrange duties. The speaker boasts a frequency response of 40 Hz-26 kHz. The LE 207 has a suggested retail price of $799 per pair.The two-way LE 202 bookshelf speaker features a single woofer and tweeter, and is rated to deliver reproduction from 48 Hz to 26 kHz. These speakers can be mounted on bookshelves or atop the company's LS-65 speaker stand. The LE 202 has a suggested retail price of $399 per pair.The LE 205 CM features a pair of 5-inch polypropylene woofers horizontally flanking the 1-inch fabric tweeter in a sealed enclosure. It is magnetically shielded for placement near video displays and boasts a frequency response of 48 Hz-26 kHz.
