He has played in the majority of the big names in prog, in many cases in their classic lineups including Asia, King Crimson, Roxy Music, Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, and UK. He has also worked with such legendary acts as Steve Hackett and Ian Wallace.John's first contact with music came in the form of church music. With his older brother being the church organist, John was given the task of playing the bass parts. In his own words John would recount, ""From that point on, I was fascinated with the relationship between the melody and the bass line, and to some extent this has been my goal in music."" Later on, at about the age of ten, American radio played a large role in John's desire to perform rock music. In turn, John Wetton, whose winding road would take him to many continents and millions of fans, would have a lasting effect on those who tuned into their radios years later.This is the first ever DVD release by John Wetton, definitely one of the most outstanding artists in rock music today. This DVD features a marvelous concert by the legendary guitarist, vocalist, bass player and producer.
