Samsung Introduces New Screen Sizes To DynaFlat HDTV Monitor Line

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. introduced a new line of affordable DynaFlat HDTV monitors at the 2003 CEDIA EXPO. The 2003 models include a 26-inch set and the 30-inch--both widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) sets.The latest DynaFlat HD models feature a new Finer Pixel Dot Pitch CRT and 3:2 pulldown. John Lavoie, Marketing Manager for Samsung Electronic America's Visual Display Group, states, ""Samsung's HDTVs are the talk of the industry, offering top-rated technology at prices that make owning DTV an affordable reality today. Often when people think HDTV they think of big sets. Our new DynaFlat HD line offers the benefits of HDTV and progressive scan capability to users who have space issues or who want a high-quality TV for areas where a very big TV wouldn't be appropriate. Premier SeriesThe Premier Series includes the 26-inch widescreen TXN2670WHF (street price $799), 27-inch TXN2771HF ($699), 30-inch widescreen TXN3071WHF ($999), and 32-inch TXN3271HF ($899). The 27-, 30- and 32-inch models also feature the new Light Touchô front-panel icon control keys (menu, channel, volume), with a backlit soft-touch membrane.Neo Side-Sound SeriesSamsung created the ""Neo"" family of designs to enrich a room with subtle elegance and style. Included in the Neo Side-Sound series is the 27-inch TXN2775HF ($899), the 30-inch widescreen TXN3075WHF ($999), and the 32-inch TXN3275HF ($999). Samsung's new Neo Side-Sound cabinet design incorporates a 30-watt stereo system. These models also have optional stands available that match the Neo design. Neo Slim-Width Design SeriesSamsung's Neo DynaFlat designs also include Tantus models, the 27-inch TXN2798HF ($899), 30-inch widescreen TXN3098WHF ($1,299), and 32-inch TXN3298HF ($1,199). High-end Tantus models are sold through only a select group of retail dealers authorized by Samsung. All Tantus models feature Samsung's slim-width Neo design.
