Harman Kardon's new line of audio/video receivers is led by the 7.1-channel AVR 630, which combines advanced features and technologies with a new, distinctive design. The AVR 630 is the first A/V receiver to offer a Quadruple Crossover Bass Manager, allowing the selection of different crossover frequencies for the front left/right, center, surround left/right, and surround back left/right speakers. Other new features are A/V sync delay, RS-232 connectivity for firmware upgradeability and bi-directional remote control, an EzSet remote with two-line LCD display, DolbyÆ Headphone and Dolby Virtual Speaker, a tuner upgrade slot for HD Radio, and more.The AVR 630 handles all popular surround sound formats, including Dolby Digital EX and all DTSÆ modes, such as DTS 96/24. Also available are Harman International's proprietary Logic 7Æ and VMAxÆ processing modes, and built-in MP3 and HDCDÆ decoding.
