MAXX Introduces 5050T HD Plasma Display

MAXX Products introduced its high-definition 50-inch plasma display, the MAXX 5050T. Featuring a native 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366 x 768 resolution, the plasma screen can display 480i/p, 720p, and 1080i. In addition, it supports native XGA computer resolution.The MAXX 5050T has a rated contrast ratio of 3,000:1 and a viewing angle of over 160 degrees, as well as a fanless design.The MAXX 5050T comes with an onboard TV tuner (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) and includes picture-in-picture (PIP) that works from any of the four corner positions. Inputs consist of S-video, composite, component, DVI, and 15-pin D-sub.
